GentleMax for Broken Capillaries
GentleMax is great for Broken Capillaries. Have you ever noticed those tiny blood vessels that are mainly around the corners of the nose, cheeks, and chin….? These are called Telangiectasia.
What are Telangiectasia?
- This is a condition in which widened venules (tiny blood vessels) cause threadlike red lines or patterns on the skin. They normally form gradually and often in clusters.
What causes Telangiectasia?
- The real causes are unknown but researchers think it may have something to do with genetics, environmental or a combination of both. It is also believed that common causes are from sun exposure and extreme hot or cold.
How to treat Telangiectasia at CAMI?
- At CAMI we treat these tiny broken blood vessels with a state of the art laser device called the GentleMax pro. GentleMax Broken Capillaries is its specialty. This device has a variety of different modalities and is also safe for all skin types. The device works by causing damage to the vessel and forcing it to collapse. It is recommended anywhere from 1-3 treatments every 4-6 weeks. This treatment has no downtime and mild redness immediately after treatment.
