Is there downtime associated with this treatment?
- There is no downtime with the ForeverYoung BBL treatment. After the initial laser treatment, you will have some mild redness/erythema for about 30 minutes to an hour. Brown spots that are treated will become darker and then will take about a week to flake off.
How many treatments are recommended?
- It is recommended to do a series of three treatments of ForeverYoung BBL’s for best results. A series of treatments is recommended for face, neck, and chest. Treatment protocol is every 4-6 weeks and then you will be put on a maintenance program every 6 months to a year to help maintain results but also continue helping with building collagen in the skin.
Is there anything to avoid prior to a ForeverYoung BBL treatment?
- The important things to be careful prior to BBL is making sure you don’t have any major sun exposure three weeks prior to treatment and also three weeks after treatment. This is important because the laser can not tell the difference between the brown spots and tan skin. It is also recommended to stop any Vitamin A products about 48-72 hours prior to BBL.
