Sally Wesselman, R.N.
Master Nurse Injector
Sally is a Registered Nurse with 30 years of nursing experience and the last 12 years specializing as an expert injector for the treatment of fine lines and volume loss in the face. She discusses an individualized plan with each client and the anti-aging results achieved are what keeps clients coming back year after year. Prior to working at Carolina Age Management Institute, Sally worked for many years with a Plastic Surgeon, and as such has in depth knowledge of all aesthetic procedures.

Cassie is a Licensed Esthetician who graduated from Aveda Institute in Charlotte. Cassie’s love and admiration for the art of beautifying others enabled her to pursue her passion as a profession. Motivated and inspired by the drive to help others in regaining confidence and self-belief, Cassie is always on the lookout for an opportunity to improve herself as a Medical Aesthetician.
Cassie embarked on her professional career from the Daniels Veterinary Hospital where she worked as the Lead Veterinary Surgical Technician for a span of more than 11 years. In the year 2015, she moved to Lake Norman with an aim to pursue a career as a professional Medical Aesthetician. She excels in the art of creating a strong bond with the patient and her aim is to serve her patients in the greatest of manner. Her positive approach to work and life helps in building the confidence of her clients. Cassie’s specialties include Medical Grade Facials, Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Micro Laser Peels, Laser Hair Reduction, ThermiVa and SculpSure. In her spare time, Cassie enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs, Enzo and Shiloh.
Patient Care Coordinator
Jessica brings a multi-faceted background to Carolina Age Management Institute. She has earned a Pharmacy Technician License out of high school which earned her a position as an office manager for Scripps Memorial Hospital, a prestige hospital in La Jolla, California. Scripps provided extensive training, which Jessica completed over 30 classes, reaching her highest level. Also, nominated multiple times for “Employee of the Year” throughout the hospital. 15 years of medical experience, covering everything from answering phone, medical billing and coding, managing up to 12 medical providers schedules and her expertise in the Medical Spa Industry. Jessica takes pride in helping others, process improvement and organization.
Certified Medical Assistant
Leanny Bowen is a Certified Medical Assistant with 4 years of experience and is continuing her education in healthcare. She comes from a background of management and patient care experience in numerous different settings that range from Orthopedic, Pulmonology, and Internal Medicine, to Urology and Dermatology. She began her career in healthcare at Onslow Memorial Hospital and has worked alongside highly reputable physicians and surgeons.
You will see Leanny during your preoperative visits as well as assisting Dr. Giordano with follow-up appointments and in-office procedures. She is always available to our patients to help answer any questions and strives to provide the best care possible. Leanny is fluent in Spanish and when needed works closely with our Spanish speaking patients.
Leanny is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences with every visit, and long-lasting relationships with our patients. Every patient is a priority, and she considers it her personal responsibility to provide individualized care for each person. Outside of the practice, Leanny enjoys spending time with her husband, a former Marine Raider and Special Operations veteran, and their three children. She has a strong passion for health and fitness, and you can often find her promoting this lifestyle online or at the gym, as well as assisting others who feel the same.
Liz joined Carolina Age Management after an illustrious career as a licensed Medical Aesthetician with 18 years experience. Beginning her career in Columbus Ohio, she helped open a MedSpa for a local Practitioner gaining invaluable experience on the challenges of becoming successful in the arena. She extended her career into the Cosmeceutical sales and service industry gaining a foundation of knowledge into product effectiveness and formation as it applies to the skin.
Most recently, Liz has been a national leader in sales and service at a Dermatology and MedSpa practice in Lake Norman region.
Liz’s enthusiasm for Aesthetics, as well as her kind, caring, and accommodating nature is what makes patients feel at ease during their treatments. With her, she bring years of expertise and professionalism to CAMI.
Outside of CAMI, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband Chad of 14 years, her daughter Libby, and their Goldendoodle.
Kelly Bumgardner BSN, RN, CCRN
OR Nurse Manager
Kelly serves as the Operating Room Nurse Manager for the Carolina Age Management Surgery Center, and her job focuses on maintaining accreditation for the facility as well as patient safety.
Kelly has been a nurse for eight years and went to Gardner-Webb University, followed by a career in hospital based critical care, but she enjoys the diversity provided within the nursing career.
Born and raised in North Carolina, and she is definitely a country girl at heart. Living in Harmony, NC, she enjoys being outdoors, playing sports, raising small livestock, boating and kayaking in her free-time. She stays busy being married with a 3.5 year old daughter.
Samantha Skowronek, a licensed cosmetologist, is a second-year nursing student at Carolinas College of Health Sciences, where she holds the position Secretary for her Student Ambassadors program as well as being a member of member of Phi Theta Kappa. Upon graduation, Samantha plans to pursue a career in medical dermatology. Samantha comes to CAMI with a distinguished background in product promotion, having served as a national product specialist and brand ambassador for Ford Motor Company, Chrysler/ Fiat, and Tesla. Samantha was also the promotional spokesperson for the Detroit Pistons for three seasons. Her skill serve her well acting as Patient Coordinator for Carolina Age Management.
Samantha was second runner up in the Miss Michigan USA pageant in both 2016 and 2017, and when not assisting patients at CAMI or studying for nursing school she enjoys spending time with her Pomeranian, Zeus, and her Great Dane, Lady.
