How Does Dermaplane Facial Work?
The face is cleansed followed by a toner to remove excess grease or oil. Using a surgical scalpel, unwanted oil, dead skin cells, and vellus hair are scraped away from the top layer of skin. The dermaplane facial treatment is done over each area of the face and removes the right amount of dead skin without hurting healthy layers. Other issues, such as uneven skin tones, blackheads, and acne, can also be extracted to make sure the skin is fresher and healthier. Following this, chemical peels and other treatments may be applied, as dermaplaning facial is very gentle to the skin. The result is a glowing complexion that appears fresher but not “done.”
This dermaplane facial treatment does not cause any discomfort or pain and takes less than an hour to complete. For skin that requires more than one treatment, it is recommended to allow two to four weeks between each treatment.
Preparation
